Australian universities tell migration review to fix red tape and improve treatment of top talent

Australia needs to reduce visa red tape and work harder to retain graduates and researchers, Universities Australia has told the government.

In its submission to a national review of the migration system, the vice-chancellors’ group said that too few graduates were remaining in Australia after graduation.
