Icipe CEO says investments are the fruit of multi-year drive to bring in new donors

The International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (Icipe) in Nairobi, Kenya, has secured two new grants as part of a years-long drive to diversify its income.

The Ikea Foundation, the charitable arm of the Swedish furniture giant, has granted Icipe US$5 million for a four-year project that it says will cut pesticide use, boost cereal production and improve soil health, while also reusing resources sustainably.
