Data corridor would circumvent data-sharing challenges such as complex privacy laws
An African “corridor” for research data has been proposed by a US-funded research programme as a remedy to the challenges that scientists on the continent face when sharing data with each other and further afield.
The idea is being developed by the legal working group of the Data Science for Health Discovery and Innovation in Africa (DS-I Africa) programme, which is funded by the US National Institutes of Health.
