University group suggests health priorities for Horizon Europe

   

The Guild calls for investment in responses to biological warfare and age-dependent disease

A group of European universities has called for the EU to increase its investment in health research areas, including ageing and responding to chemical or biological warfare.

The Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities published a position paper on 7 February setting out suggestions on how health research funding should be directed under the politically shaped parts of the bloc’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.
