Still no breakthrough in Jisc open-access talks with Springer Nature

        

New UKRI rules mean authors submitting to Nature may have to pay article-processing charges

Jisc, the UK’s higher education IT firm, has said that it is still negotiating with publisher Springer Nature to secure a transitional open-access agreement for for Nature, the Nature research journals and Palgrave titles.

But it added that “a proposal that meets the requirements of the sector has not yet been provided”.
