Government pushes towards goal of 500 startups a year by 2030

The French government has continued to promote and encourage work in ‘deeptech’—technology that is heavily reliant on scientific advances—in its launch of the latest rounds of two technology transfer schemes.

This year’s call for funding from the i-PhD and i-Lab programmes intended to commercialise technology research in the country were announced with a barrage of references to deeptech investment.
