Bloc’s leaders set out four space priorities for coming year
Space is about to become a “battlefield”, the EU’s top defence official has warned in a speech setting out important issues and actions for the bloc to consider as it plans a new strategy on space and defence.
“I do not want to use the word ‘battlefield’ but, yes, space will become a kind of battlefield: at least, a place where competition and confrontation will take place,” warned Josep Borrell, the EU high representative for foreign affairs and security policy.
